I lost my very lovely mum in november 2013 to Ovarian Cancer. Thank you mum for loving me so completely and teaching me all of your lovely values. I am a better person for being your daughter but the world is a much worse place without you. This awful disease affects 1/50 women but has little to no publicity, why are there no regular ca125 tests? I realise that wouldn't help every woman but it would pick up the majority before it was harder to treat and lives would be saved. "It is important to hold onto the knowledge that eventually your pain will ease" I so hope this is true.
